Liam Ladewski

Whistle and Flute

Liam is a multiple medalist at Midwest Fleads on both whistle and flute. He took a first on whistle and second in flute in 2011 and travelled to Ireland for the all-Ireland Fleadh in August 2011, studying with Joanie Madden (Cherish the Ladies) at the Fleadh Traditional Music School. He has been playing whistle since the age of six, studying with his uncle joHn. At the age of thirteen, he joined the band as a full-time member in the fall of 2008 when his brother Nolan left town to attend college.

Liam plays whistles made by Patrick O'Riordan and Colin Goldie, and flutes by Hammie Hamilton and Patrick Olwell.
